Paris should remind us of Love and Romance, an exalted spirit of being alive and cherishing the fact that we can not only feel the beauty but express it too. Paris is the home for the romantic heart of every human being on this globe. Despite the WW 1 and 2, where France was in the thick of it, Paris never left its charm and for me it would have been beautiful if I would have been part of the French resistance. But now we have been killing the World’s innocence.

History is replete with Crusades and Jihads for religious dominance despite the wisdom of the times. Today in the 21st century we are still the same Crusaders and Jihadists, fundamentalists and puritanical, expansionists and religious fanatics. So what is the benefit of science, knowledge, wisdom and technology?  We could easily be barbarians of the 16th and 17th century than a civilized humanity of 21st.

I suggest a radical solution for the problem of religious fundamentalism eating through the core of humanity in the name of their Gods. It is called LORE or Land of Religious Extremists

All countries should do the following

1.              A simple universal online survey to find out who would be, if given an opportunity, willing to kill, maim, destroy, eradicate, crush, ravage innocent human beings on the basis of their religion.

2.              Once identified, these people should be trained in all kind of warfare, unarmed combat, combat with hand weapons, small guns, farming etc.

3.              Identify one large secluded island and provide for separate colonies and communities to house fundamentalists from every religion from all countries. Group them as per their religion. So communities for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus and their sub sects all have their colonies on that island.

4.              Then deport all such radicals to the island with weapons and artillery and we should then leave them there to find out whose God is bigger. And whose religion should be on the top.

This will have several benefits

1.              Instead of terrorizing the whole world and the innocents who wish to live in peace and comforts of their loved ones, let these fundamentalists be killing each other.

2.              The localized warfare will be able to reduce the fall out of far spread conflict zones which destroy the atmosphere.

3.              When the fundamentalists are not killing each other, they would be gainfully employed to till the earth, cultivate the farms, rear the cattle and live a primitive life for which they are most suited.

4.              They can indulge in their religious practices and religious laws and try to propagate it among all the inhabitants.

5.              They can quote their religious books and learn all the knowledge from them.

6.              They can have ancient medicine and ancient culture to take them forward and keep them healthy.

7.              They will be all like-minded people and if by chance they don’t kill every one of themselves then they will evolve into one of the most cosmopolitan colonization in the history of this world.

8.              It will save the entire world from taking counter measures and spending billions of dollars in not only preparing a bulwark against terrorism but would also give a breather for the civilization to shift its focus from annihilation to self-actualization.

This is not a pipe dream. Several indicators from history to culture have been advocating and providing for such solution. Australia was built on this premise only. Ancient Athens had a whole law to manage ostracism on an annual basis. Film Hunger Games, Total Recall were also on similar lines albeit in a different context.  It will be the beginning of the end of a divisive society and maybe we will just die of financial exploitation and political ambitious but not of religious fanaticism.

Removing religion from the human equation will be the most difficult of the tasks. Rest will be far easier.
