Dharm Sanskriti Sangam, an offshoot of RSS, as come up with an idea to unite all those religion, which have their roots in India. So the unified religion of the country will include Jains, Buddhists, Valmikis, Ravidasis, Sikhs and Hindus etc. and all the religious events of all such religion will be celebrated with equal fervor. The Dharm Sanskriti Sangam will be guided by senior RSS functionary Indresh Kumar in this endeavor.

For the DSS, all Indic religions are Hindu in nature as they consider from Indus to the sea as their Fatherland, a concept propounded by Savarkar.

“We will celebrate any one key festival of prominent Indian panths – of the Jains, Buddhists, Valmikis, Ravidasis, Sikhs, etc. From sage Valmiki to Dr. Ambedkar, we want to honour all,” Mr. Kumar told The Hindu.

As part of the job, the Sangam is also planning yatras starting from the four corners of India and finally meet at Bodh Gaya. The yatra will take place before next year’s Buddha Purnima in May.

Moreover, the Sangam is also attempting to interface with the neo-Buddhists as well as the Dalit converts to Buddhism. Recently Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS chief praised Ambedkar referring to his conversion to Buddhism.

However, the senior RSS leader also heads another Sangh offshoot under the name of Muslim Rashtriya Manch which works at resolving differences between Hindu and Muslim faiths.
