New Delhi:The terms of 24 members of Bihar legislative council from Local Authorities’ Constituencies is going to end on 16th of July, 2015.

The members whose terms will end in July are Balmiki Singh (Patna), Rajesh Kumar Singh (Nalanda), Anuj Kumar Singh (Gaya-cum-Jahanabad-cum-Arwal), Ranjan Kumar Singh (Aurangabad), Salman Ragiv (Nawada), Hulas Pandey (Bhojpur-cum-Buxar), Krishna Kumar Singh( Rohtas-cum-Kaimur), Saleem Perwez(Saran), Tun Jee Pandey ( Siwan), Sunil Kumar Singh(Gopalganj), Rajesh Ram( West Chamapran), Renu Singh ( East Champaran), Dinesh Kumar Singh(Muzaffarpur), Rajendra Rai (Vaishali), Baidyanath Prasad( Sitamarhi-cum-Sheohar), Misri Lal Yadav(Darbhanga), Roma Bharti (Samastipur), Sanjay Prasad( Munger-cum-Jamui-cum-Lakhisarai-cum-Sheikhpura), Rajnish Kumar ( Begusarai-cum-Khagaria), Md Israil Rain ( Saharsa-cum-Madhepura-cum-Supaul), Manoj Yadav(Bhagalpur-cum-Banka), Binod Kumar Singh( Madhubani), Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal( Purnea-cum-Araria-cum-Kishanganj) and Ashok Kumar Agrawal(Katihar).

According to the Election Commission of India notification, the polls will be conducted on 7th July from 8 am to 4 am. The notification will be issued on 11th June, 2015 and the last date of making notifications is 18th June. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on 19th June.

Counting of votes will begin on 10th of July and would be completed by 14th July. The Model Code of Conduct will come into effect immediately in the districts where elections are going to be held. Besides, the ECI instructions regarding destruction of public and private property will also be applicable.
