BJP MLA throws stone at toll plaza employee when asked to pay the toll fee

Misuse of power by the so-called VIPs is not new. In fact, this has become an everyday instance. A similar incident took place on Monday evening in the Mhow district in Bhopal.

Kalu Singh Thakur, a politician belonging to the BJP, who happened to cross the toll road, started pelting stones at one of the employees at toll crossing when he was asked to pay the toll fee. Although legislators and high-level government officials are exempt from paying the toll tax, they are required to prove their identity.

However, the MLA who was traveling in his private car didn’t cooperate with the identification process either.

That was not all. The politician further refused any apology to anyone maintaining that since he is an MLA he is not required to pay the toll tax. The police have accepted the MLA’s complaint against the toll plaza worker.

This is a call for all those who are no less mortal than the so-called VIPs to work towards building democratic awareness and demand equal treatment for all human beings and bring dignity to all profession. We are against the blatant misuse of power by the alleged politicians and government officials. What makes these politicians worthy of special privileges if not the mere definition of being an MP or an MLA.
