Why Be That Girl When You Can Be 'You'

We have been taught that everyone is unique in their own way. That uniqueness is what makes us beautiful. But what happens when others do not accept the way we are and start judging us with the stereotyped standards of beauty. We become a butt of jokes if we do not have long lustrous hair, fair complexion, and a size zero body type.

"You ain't got that thigh gap? Ugh! You are so fat and ugly"- these are the words that we often get to hear. What does it do to us? Bring our self-esteem down in our own eyes. What happens after that? We put every effort to change ourselves, join the sheep herd and lose the oneness.

Even though we achieve to live up to the considered standards of beauty, would we be able to become 'that girl'. May be not! Because we were never 'that girl'.

So why be 'that girl' when we can be ourselves; when you can be 'You'.
