Life Is No Fairytale For Women

A woman has been taught to behave in a certain way in front of the society from the very first moment she opens her eyes. She cannot laugh out loud, eat however much she wants or sit with legs wide open. Why? Because she is a woman and that is not how she should behave. What would others think?

In an intense monologue called "The Truths of Womanhood" written by Kalki Koechlin, she storms the brain of every single person to ponder over what the traditional patriarchy makes them do and if it is right at all.
